What’s new?

In this update we did a lot of work on a new lobby system to make getting to matches and playing with your friends easier!

In addition to numerous bug fixes we improved the shooting, so your shot will land where you have shot them.

In terms of visual upgrades the slugs have come to life! Now the dazzling slug you control is animated and dances whenever they get the chance!

Powerups

Take a look at all of the new power ups introduced in this update!

1. Rally the Slugs!

Rally your teammates to attack!

With this power up you rally yourself and nearby teammates for an attack. The rally gives affected players movement speed, damage, and hp boosts for a few seconds

2. Full Collection

Let Fortuna decide your fate!

With this onetime power up you roll 4 random power ups which will replace any existing power ups you might have.

3. Poison Puddle

Poison your enemies with bottles of poison!

This power up gives you 3 bottles of poison that you can throw on the ground. When hitting the ground the bottles break and form a puddle of poison. Whoever stands in the poison will be damaged. Be careful, this includes you!

4. Healing homie

Friendly homie joins the team!

This new homie will find the most injured teammate and heal them!

5. Jelly Shelter

Jelly shelter will create a defensive shield around you and your teammates when placed, blocking any shooting or projectiles from outside. Watch out for enemies trying to sneak through though!

6. Shatter burst

Take a steady stance and burst your enemies down.

With the shatter burst you will shoot a burst of shatter bombs. But to do this you will have to take a steady stance slowing your pace to a halt and making you an easy target for the duration.

7. Jetpack

Catch them from above!

Take to the skies with the new jetpack power up. Holding down the power up key will let you fly around the map. Keep your eye on the fuel though. Or you’ll fall like a rock.

8. Bubble shot

Bubble your enemies!

Replacing bubble beam the new bubble shot is a modifier on any shot you shoot. If your shot hits an enemy, they will be bubbled for a short while. Making them unable to move.

9. Slug decoy

Distract your enemies!

Slug decoy will send out a fake slug looking just like you! If shot, the decoy will make the enemies blind giving you the chance to strike!

10. Totem of luck

May luck be ever in your favour

This totem will bless you with a random effect that will help you in the fight. Though, some effects are more useful than others…

11. Ink Cloud

Hide away in a cloud of ink!

12. Burning Homie

A new Homie joins the ranks of your team!

Set fire to your enemies and let it spread.
